Gannon Goldsworthy Hall Government is a Registered Student Organization of Washington State University. As a student of Gannon Goldsworthy you pay student fees that go towards Gannon Goldsworthy's hall budget. Every year we elect a new governing board of executives so if you're interested in getting involved Gannon Goldsworthy Hall Government could be a great opportunity for you! Below are a list of available positions for the 2017-2018 academic year. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hall Gov Meetings

Government Positions!

President 

 

The president of the hall is responsible for chairing hall govenment meetings and executive meetings. The President sets the agendas for meetings and acts as an RHA representative when needed. For more info see the GG Hall constitution.

Programming Chair 

 

The Programming Chair is in charge of chairing the programming committing and coordinating hall and inter-hall programs. They also work with the Public Relations coordinator to adertise for events. For more information see the GG Hall constitution. 

RHA Representative (1) 

 

The RHA representatives of the hall are liaisons between the Residence Hall Association and the GG Hall Government. RHA representatives attend weekly RHA meetings on Mondays as well as serve on an RHA committee. For more informations please see the GG Hall constitution.

Intramural Chair

 

The Intramural chair can maintain the Intramural Bulletin board of upcoming events. They act as a liaison between the Hall Government and intramural teams and act as the single voting member of the executive board. For more information please see the GG Hall constitution.

Vice President

 

The Vice President oversees all Ad-hoc meetings. They chair meetings in the absence of the President as well as share responsibilities of internal affairs. For more info see the GG Hall constitution. 

Secretary 

 

The Secretary of the hall records the minutes of each meetings as well as attendance. They make minutes available to the general building population. They give weely financial reports to the hall council. For more information see the GG Hall constitution. 

RHA Representative (2)

 

The GG Hall government elects two RHA representatives. For more information please RHA representative (1) box or reference the GG Hall constitution. 

Public Relations Coordinator

 

The Public Relations Coordinator chairs the public relations committee. The PRC is in charge of creating advertisements for hall events as well as creating the Hall of the Year bid. For more information please see the GG Hall constitution. 

Floor Representatives

 

A government wouldn't be a government without its representatives!

 

If executive positions don't sound like your thing then maybe you can be your floor's representative. Floor representatives are community leaders on their floors. Each representative brings their needs and concerns to the Government meetings and is a voting member regarding hall issues and funding requests. Each floor representative is entitled to a small stipend per semester (pending attendance).
