Gannon Goldsworthy
Residence Hall
Washington State University
Step 2 -Parking
1) After the parking attendant has told you where to go, continue to the back lot of Gannon Goldsworthy. This lot is very easy to find as it is right in front of the Southside Dining Center Entrance where you probably ate for Alive! See the arrows on the map below showing you how to access this lot.
2) Be patient as you enter the parking area. Wait for our hall staff to direct you where to park. During move-in Gannon Goldsworthy Hall will designate 30 minute unloading zones on our basketball courts and parking lot areas. We will then have cars exit underneath Gannon Hall. Hall Staff will ask you for your name, room number, and a contact phone number. They will then put the information on the front of your car with your arrival time.
Note: If your vehicle is over 7' 8" please contact a staff member for an alternative parking plan. You can email RED Tiffany at tiffany.firestone@wsu.edu in advance.
3) Please unload your car as quickly as physically possible. As mentioned before we have over half of our student population moving in on the very first day of move-in so we are not able to have cars parked in the unloading zones for more than 30 minutes. When you arrive and finally park your car in an unloading zone head inside of the building to 'check in' to your room. You will grab your key and then start the process of unloading your car.
A tip is to have family/friends that are with you begin to unload your car while you go to check into your room. We will have rolling carts available to assist with moving your belongings inside.
